Dorothy Hood is the President of Allie & Austin Management LLC which was formed in 1996.

She started her accounting career at the age of seven by counting pennies in Sunday School.

Her mission, which she calls her “gift,” was to provide small businesses with professional accounting without a professional price tag. Her gift led her to provide accounting services for churches, charities, and non-profit organizations as well as retail and service businesses. Her next step was to support the need of her clients on how to manage their grants for local, state, and government grantors. She developed an accounting system to track reimbursement grants with a turnaround of one week to avoid cash flow problems.

Her values are simple “The first key to success in business is to know whether you are making money and where that money is going!
